In my graduate corporate finance class, I had the exciting opportunity to collaborate on a group project focused on conducting a financial analysis of a publicly traded company. Our objective was to delve deep into the company's financials and provide informed insights regarding potential investment decisions—specifically, the rationale behind buying or selling the company's stock.
After careful consideration, we chose Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Limited (TSMC), a leader in the global semiconductor industry, as the subject of our analysis. The main areas I contributed were the financial statement analysis, valuation analysis, and the final write-up.
